What Happens After You Share Your App Idea With a Developer?

Most people with an app idea hesitate because the process feels like a black box. Here is exactly what happens after you share an idea with me — the same journey every project follows.

Step 1: The discovery meeting

A free video call where I ask more questions than you expect: who uses the app, what must version one do, what can wait. Ideas arrive as feelings; they leave this meeting as a written feature list in a requirement PDF.

Step 2: Fixed quotation

You receive a quotation with cost (with and without GST) and staged payments tied to milestones — typically advance, after design approval, and before launch. No open-ended billing.

Step 3: Screens before code

Every screen is designed and shown to you first. Changing a design costs minutes; changing built code costs days. You approve the look before development begins, so the final app never surprises you.

Step 4: Builds on your phone

Development runs in milestones, and you receive test builds throughout. You watch login work, then browsing, then payments — and your feedback steers the next milestone while changes are still cheap.

Step 5: Publishing and handover

I publish on the Play Store under a developer account in your name, hand over source code and admin credentials, and train you on the panel. The app is yours — legally and practically.

Step 6: Life after launch

Real users always teach us something. Updation and modification support handles fixes, refinements and the version-two features your users start asking for. That is not failure; that is a live product growing.
