10 Signs Your Business Website Needs a Redesign

Websites age faster than we expect. A site that was impressive in 2019 can quietly repel customers today. Here are the ten signs I check when a business owner asks, "is my website still fine?"

The technical signs

1. It takes more than three seconds to load. Visitors leave, and Google notices. 2. It is awkward on a phone — pinch-zooming, tiny buttons, sideways scrolling. Most of your traffic is mobile now. 3. No padlock (SSL) — browsers literally label you "Not Secure". 4. You cannot update anything yourself and pay a developer for every comma.

The business signs

5. Enquiries have dried up even though footfall or referrals are steady. 6. Your competitors outrank you for your own service in your own city. 7. The design embarrasses you when you share the link. 8. Information is outdated — old prices, closed branches, discontinued services.

The strategic signs

9. No WhatsApp or call integration — Indian customers want one-tap contact. 10. It does not appear in "near me" searches because it was never built for local SEO.

Redesign does not mean starting over

A good redesign preserves your Google history: content is migrated carefully, URLs are redirected properly, and rankings are protected while the design, speed and mobile experience jump a generation. If three or more signs above sound familiar, get an audit — knowing costs nothing.
