Traffic without enquiries is not a marketing problem. It is usually a clarity problem.

1. Nobody can tell what you do in five seconds

Your headline should say what you do, for whom, and why it is better. "Innovative solutions for tomorrow" says nothing. "Freelance web developer β€” fast websites, fixed prices, one year of support" says everything.

2. The call to action is buried

One primary action, repeated. Not eight buttons competing for attention.

3. Your form asks for too much

Every extra field costs conversions. Name, phone, one line about the requirement. Get the rest on the call.

4. No proof

Testimonials with real names, real companies and specific results. Logos of clients. Screenshots of actual work. Vague claims convert nobody.

5. No reason to act now

A free consultation, a limited slot, a bonus. Something that makes today better than "later" β€” because "later" means never.

Measure before you redesign

Install a heatmap tool for two weeks first. You will usually find the leak is one specific section, not the whole site.
